AN INDEPENDENT TRANSIT CAMP
The aim is to generate a self-reliant and self-sustainable community that is not dependent on external agencies for a dignified livelihood; a community that is increasingly involved and autonomous in the creation and functioning of its own habitat, thereby creating a community that has a notion of self-identity and belonging through social, cultural and economic bonds.

* This website is conceptualized as a repository of our design-research explorations, trying to break away from our academic bubble and sharing all our ideas with the world. Everything presented has been developed as a simulation of the designing process of a Transit Camp, in the Indian Context. This project has been developed and designed during the tough times of COVID-19 and hence the site analysis was the preliminary data provided by the faculties to the students through online assistance. *
